^Lot 21 7-day Colorado Archery Elk Drop Camp for Two Hunters

For the past thirty years, Flat Tops Wilderness Guides have provided a unique Colorado drop camp experience. The drop camp is the soul of the wilderness outfitter. Not for the faint of heart, this do-it-yourself option was born in the age of the self-sufficient hunter. Flat Tops Wilderness Guides will get ya packed into camps setup with all the outfitted gear, you do the huntin’, and they pack out the meat.

This is a seven day archery hunt, for two hunters in Colorado’s wilderness to be used in the 2024 or 2025 season. Hunts are conducted in GMU 25. Currently, archery tags in this unit may be purchased over the counter, but are likely to go to draw only in 2025. Hunt includes one day of packing into the wilderness, five full days of hunting, and one day to pack out. Weather during the archery season is good and elk are generally bugling. It is normal to go an entire hunt without seeing another hunter. Hunters are allowed 100 lbs of gear per person. All guests must weigh under 275 lbs and may not be under the age of seven.

Included are camp gear (wall tents, cots, wood stoves, cooking equipment, latrines, lanterns, etc.) and pack out of one elk per hunter.

Additional days may be added for $300 per person per day. Additional hunters may be added for $2,450 per hunter. Consult with outfitter for more details.

Not included are tags, food, taxidermy, satellite communications devices, gratuity.
